Hildewintera aureispina variegata crest “Variegated Golden Crest”
Hildewintera aureispina variegata crest “Variegated Golden Crest”
Origin: Bolivia
Flower: Orange
Description: The grafted cactus on top is Hildewintera aureispina crest. Grafting a cactus is a basic procedure of removing a part of the cactus and placing it onto a base plant such as a Cereus species and using rubber bands to secure the grafted cactus. Affix rubber bands over the grafted cactus and under the container. Make sure that the rubber bands are not too loose because they won’t be able to hold the grafted cactus tight enough. After 2-4 weeks, remove the rubber bands and the plant should be firmly secure.
Sun: Full sun or filtered light
Water: Once every ten days outdoors, once a month indoors.
Frost: Not frost hardy
